Over on Xiaohongshu, fans wildly speculate about her daily routine. Thousands recently engaged with an old interview where she called her marriage “super sweet”, treating the political relationship like a hit television show.
Jingsi Wu is a media studies professor at Hofstra University. “Chinese fans like her having both traditional and modern sides of a woman,” she explained.

Dr. King noted that this reduced schedule “limits how often she is exposed to public scrutiny, reduces the number of situations in which she can be pulled into the daily political circus, and means that when she does appear, the appearance carries more symbolic weight.”
