The Fox News poll is filled with bad numbers and low ratings for the president.
President Donald Trump is struggling mightily with his poll numbers close to the midterm elections.
The American public is upset with the rising cost of living, the war in Iran, and the inflation that keeps rising.
Trump is a very unpopular president. He is so unpopular that even a Fox News poll shows his worst numbers as president.
Record low in a Fox News poll
The numbers from the Fox News poll that was revealed yesterday show that the American people think Trump is failing them on multiple levels.
Trump’s overall job approval as president is 36%, his lowest ever in a Fox News survey. He also has his lowest numbers ever when it comes to inflation. Only 22% approve of his handling of inflation. That is worse than the numbers Biden had four years ago (29%) on the same survey.
It gets worse for Trump on inflation, a topic he continues to downplay while claiming that it is coming down. Fifty-five percent of people asked in the survey say that inflation is “not at all” under control.
The economy and cost of living continue to doom Trump
There is more bad news for Trump. On average, six out of 10 people asked in the survey say that the cost of living is their top economic worry.
That is coupled with the fact that 74% rate the economy negatively and expect it to become worse over the next year.
Furthermore, only 18% say their family is better off compared to two years ago. This means that most Americans agree that the country is in an affordability crisis, something Trump calls a “hoax” created by the Democratic Party.
