There are plenty of movies and series to choose from when we sink into the couch in the evening.
But with hundreds of thousands of different options, it can be difficult to get an overview of what might suit your taste—and even harder to judge whether a particular movie or series is actually worth spending your life on.
Of course, whether a movie is worthwhile is a matter of personal taste, sure, but when millions of people around the world agree that a film is a true experience, there might just be something to it after all.
The viewers have spoken
The website IMDB has been dedicated to movies and series since 1990, and as the internet has grown more widespread, user participation has grown significantly as well.
The site has compiled a list of the 250 highest-rated movies of all time, based on ratings from IMDB users.
