What is happening?
In a post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump had something he wanted to say about the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
“He has gone absolutely crazy”
The most notable thing is that Trump is now calling Russian President, Vladimir Putin, “absolutely crazy”.
Something has happened to him
The post reads:
“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY! He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers.”
The downfall of Russia
The post goes on highlighting the Russian tactic of targeting Ukrainian cities with missiles and drones “without any reason “for no reason whatsoever”.
Trump also says: “I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!”
Slams Zelenskyy too
Ukrainian President, Zelenskyy, is not being let of the hook, though.
According to Trumps post, Zelenskyy is not doing Ukraine any favors by “talking the way he does”.
Zelenskyy’s, Putin’s and Biden’s war
Trump finishes the post by pointing out, that the war in Ukraine is Zelenskyy’s, Putin’s and Biden’s war, repeating the claim that the war would never had started is Trump held office in 2022.
Clearly frustrated
According to experts and analysts, the post from Trump shows that POTUS is frustated with the lack of progress in the peacetalks between Russia and Ukraine.
However, they point out that Trump may have beefed up his rethoric, but if he will be willing to increase support for Ukraine remains to be seen.
