Drone activity and missile debris were seen in several parts of the city, including the entrance to a metro station in Sviatoshynskyi, which serves as an air raid shelter. Residents reported hearing continuous drone hums and air-defense counterfire lights.
One Kyiv official, Timur Tkachenko, warned that more waves of drone strikes could follow.
City Mayor Vitali Klitschko also confirmed at least one casualty in Solomianskyi and three injuries in Sviatoshynskyi. Two additional people were seriously hurt in other areas.
This attack follows a devastating strike on the night of June 16–17, when over 440 drones and 32 missiles destroyed large parts of the city, killing 28 and injuring more than 130.
Kyiv is now under heavy aerial assault, with strikes happening nearly every night.
