Ukraine will not engage in what is typically understood as peace negotiations. Instead, during contacts with Moscow, an ultimatum will be issued that Russian authorities will have to accept.

This was stated in an interview with journalist Natalia Moseichuk, published on her YouTube channel, by Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“There will be ultimatum demands to the Russian Federation at the highest level, and Russia will accept them. This is not a paradox; it is the objective development of the war,” he explained.

According to Podolyak, Western partners will not stop supporting Ukraine despite internal contradictions. On the contrary, ultimately, the assistance will only increase.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Olga Stefanishina, reported that the European Union is coordinating the allocation of 50 billion to Ukraine at the beginning of February 2024.

According to her, the delay is not related to the issue of aid to Ukraine as such, but to the revision of the budget, hence the need for additional negotiations. However, guarantees for the allocation of funds to Kyiv have been received in any case.

The day before, the UK’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Barbara Woodward, explained during a Security Council meeting that London is helping Ukraine replenish its air defense (AD) stocks, for which hundreds of missiles were sent.
