Public Health Investigation

The CDC has linked 20 cases to the broader Listeria outbreak, including 19 hospitalizations and four deaths.

Listeriosis can be especially severe for adults over 65, pregnant individuals, or those with compromised immune systems.

Symptoms include fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, typically lasting up to three days. Anyone experiencing these symptoms should seek medical attention promptly.
