The warnings emerged at the same time her public split from Donald Trump grew increasingly bitter.
Greene said the situation has become dangerous, but Trump insisted he did not believe she was at risk.
Tensions rise
According to Newsweek, the Rome Police Department acknowledged seeing two threatening emails that referenced Greene and her family.
Officers described them as “email assassination threats toward MTG and her family,” and confirmed an investigation is underway.
Local authorities also told reporters that an unordered pizza was delivered to Greene’s home, a gesture they are assessing as a possible message indicating her address had been identified.

Her concerns intensified after Trump criticized her during a public appearance. He referred to her as “Marjorie Traitor Greene” and added:
“I don’t think her life is in danger. Frankly, I don’t think anybody cares about her.”

Their relationship changed in recent weeks after disagreements over the release of the remaining Jeffrey Epstein files.
Greene backed a bipartisan effort urging full publication, while Trump resisted the move before stating only recently that he supported disclosure.
BBC and other outlets have noted that Greene is one of several Republicans pressuring the administration to make the documents public.
The shift led to sharp exchanges online. Greene argued that Trump’s anger placed her in greater danger at a moment when threats against her were already under investigation.
Escalating rhetoric
In a statement on social media, Greene wrote: “President Trump’s unwarranted and vicious attacks against me were a dog whistle to dangerous radicals that could lead to serious attacks on me and my family.”

She continued: “Now that President Trump has called me a traitor, which is absolutely untrue and horrific. This puts blood in the water and creates a feeding frenzy. And it could ultimately lead to a harmful or even deadly outcome.”
Greene said the timing was notable because Congress is days away from voting on the Epstein files.
LADbible and other outlets confirmed that the White House had been contacted for comment.
Police are continuing their investigation. Greene told reporters she will not reduce her public activity despite the current pressure.
