Humans have always looked to the skies and wondered whether life exists beyond Earth.

From ancient myths to modern science, the idea that we may not be alone has fueled curiosity, fear and hope in equal measure.
That fascination has intensified again as a mysterious interstellar object makes its way through our solar system.
A visitor from deep space
The object, known as 3I-ATLAS, is an interstellar comet currently approaching Earth and is expected to make its closest pass later this week.
Since its discovery, it has sparked widespread debate, ranging from scientific explanations to far more speculative theories.
Astronomers describe 3I-ATLAS as a rare visitor from beyond our solar system. Others, however, see it as something far more extraordinary.

Uri Geller’s belief
Israeli-British illusionist and self-described paranormal researcher Uri Geller has shared his own interpretation of the comet’s arrival.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Geller said he believes extraterrestrial beings linked to 3I-ATLAS may already be present on Earth.
Geller said he “wants to believe” that the object could be connected to what he calls the “Galactic Federation”, a concept he has referenced for years.
Claims of frozen bodies
Geller, 77, repeated a long-standing claim that he was shown alien bodies decades ago by Wernher von Braun, the German-born engineer who later worked for NASA.
“I have to go back 50 years ago, when I was shown alien bodies by none other than Wernher von Braun,” he said.

According to Geller, the bodies were small, thin and humanoid, with large heads, and were kept frozen deep beneath NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
No evidence has ever been produced to support this claim, and NASA has consistently denied the existence of extraterrestrial bodies.
A peaceful mission
Geller suggested the beings he believes are associated with 3I-ATLAS are not hostile. He said they could already be observing humanity without making their presence known.
“Perhaps they are already here, we just don’t know,” he said. “The sky really is the limit in terms of possibilities for this 3I-ATLAS spaceship.”
He added that extraterrestrials, if they exist, would come in peace and could help humanity avoid self-destruction driven by nuclear weapons and conflict.

Awaiting the flyby
3I-ATLAS is expected to make its closest approach to Earth on December 19. Scientists say it poses no known threat and is best explained by natural processes.
For believers like Geller, however, the comet’s passage could mark something far more significant.
“It is likely that when it passes by they will give us something,” he said. “We may not immediately know how to use whatever power they give us, but we will know in time.”
