Meghan Markle made a brief return to social media overnight, drawing attention amid renewed interest in Prince Harry’s recent holiday. The post appeared shortly after images circulated of the duke spending time away from home.
The timing prompted speculation, though the gesture itself was understated.
According to Express, Meghan shared an Instagram story for the first time since Prince Harry was photographed vacationing without her. The Duke of Sussex, 41, was seen in Aspen, Colorado, alongside close friend Nacho Figueras.
Photos showed the pair skiing together before Harry later took part in a polo match.
Aspen appearance
Harry was reportedly in Aspen for a pre-Christmas break and is believed to have participated in the St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship. He is said to have stepped in to play on behalf of a friend.
While polo may not have been part of his original holiday plans, the appearance did not go unnoticed back home. Meghan’s Instagram story featured a photograph of Harry on horseback during the match.
She accompanied the image with the caption: “Oh, hello there.”
Separate plans
Meghan did not travel with her husband and is believed to be staying at the couple’s Montecito home in California with their children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
According to Express, Prince Harry is expected to return in time for Christmas. The family is reported to be planning a low-key celebration at home.
The couple have previously spoken about prioritizing family time during the holiday season.
Day on the slopes
Details of Harry’s Aspen trip emerged through comments from a source speaking to Hello magazine. The source described a relaxed day spent with friends.
“Prince Harry was with Nacho for about four hours on the mountains,” the source said.
“The pair spent the day skiing and enjoyed lunch together at one of the restaurants at the resort. Harry seemed happy and was also joined by a number of male friends on the slopes.”
