The interview with the alleged Venezuelan security guard loyal to Maduro has not been independently verified and was first posted by Mike Netter, a radio and vodcast host as well as the Vice Chair of RebuildCalifornia. Netter did not provide a source for the interview either.
But according to the post, the Venezuelan security guard told the interviewer that after U.S. drones and helicopters appeared, some sort of sonic weapon was deployed.

Flash bangs or LRADs
On Reddit, users are discussing what actually happened in Venezuela and whether the accounts are even true.
One user suggested that the symptoms described by the Venezuelan guard are consistent with exposure to a flash bang.
According to the user, symptoms of a flash bang include temporary blindness, disorientation, tinnitus, and more. The user points to the quote from the guard about feeling like his head was exploding from the inside, suggesting this might be a sign of a concussion caused by a flash bang.

Others suggest the symptoms described were the result of an LRAD — Long-Range Acoustic Device — which is a sonic weapon that uses high-intensity loudspeakers to broadcast sound over long distances.

The user made it clear that their opinion was based solely on the character of U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, noting that Hegseth would most likely use every tool available when conducting such an operation.
Until we get confirmation that some sort of sonic weapon was used in Venezuela, and that the witness account is true, all we can do is speculate. So do you think the U.S. deployed some sort of sonic weapon, or was it “simply” a flash bang?
