The discussion touched not only on personal habits within the administration but also on broader questions about health, fitness and leadership at the highest level.
Podcast remarks
UNILAD reported that US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made the comments while appearing on The Katie Miller Podcast.
During the interview, Miller asked which member of the cabinet had “the most unhinged eating habits”.
Kennedy Jr. first addressed fitness within the administration, naming Scott Turner, the US Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, as the healthiest and fittest cabinet member. He also mentioned Pete Hegseth and Sean Duffy as being in good physical shape.
Focus on trump
When the conversation turned to diet, Kennedy Jr. singled out US President Donald Trump. According to UNILAD, he described the president’s eating habits as particularly unhealthy, centring on junk food.

He said: “The interesting thing about the president is that he eats really bad food, which is McDonald’s, and, you know, candy and Diet Coke. But he drinks Diet Coke at all times.”
Kennedy Jr. then added: “He has the constitution of a deity. I don’t know how he’s alive, but he is.”
Mixed picture
The health secretary went on to explain that Trump has said he mainly eats junk food while travelling, claiming he trusts large corporations and wants to avoid food poisoning.
“When he’s at Mar-a-Lago or the White House, he’s eating really good food,” Kennedy Jr. said.
He later appeared to soften his criticism, describing a contrast between appearances on the road and the president’s overall condition. “When you travel with him, you get the impression that he’s just pumping himself full of poison all day long,” he said, before adding that Trump remains “the most energetic person any of us have ever met”.

“But, I actually think he does eat pretty good food. I mean, he’s in incredible health,” Kennedy Jr. continued.
health debate
UNILAD also noted Kennedy Jr.’s comment that a doctor had reportedly said Trump has “the highest testosterone levels he’s ever seen” for a man of his age. “I know the president will be happy that I repeat that,” Kennedy Jr. said, as Miller laughed.
The interview followed Kennedy Jr.’s recent announcement of a major overhaul of dietary guidance. Under his revised food pyramid, protein, dairy and healthy fats are prioritised, with fruit and vegetables placed below and whole grains at the bottom.
