"I have great respect and admiration for David, Pam, Mike, and the entire team at Warner Bros. Discovery and their commitment to movies, movie fans, and the theatrical experience. I look forward to making great movies together!"

Cruise's Return to Warner Bros.

The leadership at Warner Bros. Discovery shared their excitement about working with Cruise, a legendary figure in the film industry. De Luca and Abdy commented,

"Our vision, from day one, has been to rebuild this iconic studio to the heights of its glory days... Today, that becomes a reality and we are one step closer to achieving our ambition. We couldn't be more excited to welcome Tom back to Warner Bros."

The partnership is especially noteworthy as it symbolizes Cruise's return to Warner Bros., where he previously collaborated on several successful films such as 'Edge of Tomorrow,' 'The Last Samurai,' and 'Eyes Wide Shut.' His work with Warner Bros. has been critically acclaimed, including a Golden Globe win for 'Magnolia.'

Still Working on Mission: Impossible 8

Despite this new partnership, Cruise's relationship with other studios remains unaffected. He continues to work with Paramount on projects like 'Mission: Impossible 8,' and with Universal and director Doug Liman on a high-budget space film.

It is important to note that Cruise’s deal with Warner Bros. is not exclusive, and he currently has no projects in the works or greenlit with Warner Bros, as the partnership is still in its early stages.
