Matt LeBlanc has shared touching words on Instagram following the death of Matthew Perry, known for his role as Chandler Bing in the iconic TV series "Friends," which aired from 1994 to 2004.

"It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye," begins LeBlanc's post, which includes several pictures of him with Perry.

"The times we had together are honestly among the best in my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you, and I will never forget you. Never," LeBlanc continues.

In the TV series "Friends," Matt LeBlanc played Joey, who was best friends with Perry's character Chandler.

The series first aired in 1994 and its final episode in 2004. Since then, the series has been rerun numerous times worldwide.

"We are all completely devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just co-stars. We are family," the "Friends" stars stated after Matthew Perry's death. On October 28, Matthew Perry passed away at the age of 54 after being found lifeless in a jacuzzi at his home in Los Angeles.

After some time, the five series friends, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Jennifer Aniston, responded to Perry's death in a joint statement, but this is the first time one of the "Friends" stars has reacted in a personal post.

"Spread your wings and fly brother, you are finally free," continues Matt LeBlanc in his post, which concludes with:

"I guess you get to keep the 20 dollars you owe me."

The cause of death is not yet known.
