Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, recently had to cancel a show and fly back to the U.S. due to an 'urgent family matter.' Now, his ex-wife Shanna Moakler has broken her silence and offered some clarification on the situation.
Shanna Moakler, in a video obtained by TMZ, confirmed that their children, Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, are both 'safe.' While Barker himself has not given any details of the precise nature of the crisis, Moakler's statement has put to rest concerns about the safety of their children.
Barker had been due to perform with Blink-182 in the UK, starting with a concert in Glasgow on September 1.
However, the band had to postpone their UK tour due to the family emergency. The tour is now expected to resume with their scheduled performance in Dublin on September 5.
The family emergency comes at a time when Barker's partner, Kourtney Kardashian, is pregnant with their first child. The child is expected to be born between October and December.
Moakler expressed her prayers and well wishes for Barker's immediate family, including the baby and Kourtney.
