Shannen Doherty, the 'Beverly Hills 90210' star, has revealed in a recent interview with People magazine that her cancer, which she had previously overcome, has now spread to her bones.
Doherty first battled cancer from 2015 to 2017, overcoming her diagnosis and being declared completely healthy.
However, in 2019, she had to face the disease again as it had spread from her breast to her lymph nodes. In June of this year, Doherty disclosed that the cancer had further spread to her brain.
Despite this disheartening news, Doherty emphasizes that her condition is not a death sentence. She expresses her determination to continue living, loving, creating, and making positive changes. "I'm just not finished," she asserts in the interview.
Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh in 'Beverly Hills 90210', remains active and defies the assumptions that her illness has rendered her unable to work or live normally.
Brian Austin Green, her co-star from the series, provided an update on her health earlier this year, describing her as strong and capable of overcoming significant challenges.
