Why You Should Apply Wax on Your Faucet.

According to an article on Pensionist.dk, applying a small amount of wax from a candle to your bathroom faucet can combat the recurrence of hard water stains and lime deposits.

This simple hack, brought to light by TikTok user @thegoodlifehack, involves rubbing candle wax onto the faucet with a soft cloth, resulting in a clean, shiny tap that repels water droplets and remains free from lime scale.

The wax acts as a barrier, not cleaning the faucet but adding a water-repellent layer.

This prevents water droplets from leaving streaks and deposits, making the sink easier to clean. If you don't have a candle, a piece of wax paper can be used instead, rubbed directly onto the faucet and handles for a similar effect.

This method is not a one-time or permanent solution to keep water and lime away. It may be necessary to reapply a thin layer of wax periodically. However, it can be a part of your regular cleaning routine to keep your faucet sparkling clean and stain-free.

If you struggle with hard water stains and lime deposits, it's worth spending a few extra minutes to polish and protect your faucet.
