In a devastating incident that unfolded in Rogaszyce, Poland, a 19-year-old female driver was caught on camera speeding at 220 km/h (136 mph) in a BMW.

The high-speed joyride took a tragic turn when the car lost control, veered off the road, and smashed into a tree. The accident resulted in the death of a 17-year-old male passenger and left another passenger injured.

The driver herself survived the crash and is now in the hospital receiving medical treatment.

The accident occurred on October 9th, shortly after midnight. Upon impact, the car burst into flames, complicating rescue efforts.

Emergency services were quick to arrive at the scene, but despite their best efforts, they could not save the 17-year-old passenger or a dog that was also in the car. Both perished in the fiery crash.

Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident. Preliminary findings suggest that the driver lost control of the vehicle due to the excessive speed she was maintaining.

A chilling video captured from inside the car shows the moments leading up to the crash.

The 17-year-old passenger can be heard pleading with the driver to slow down, his last words hauntingly being, "Slow down, slow down, slow down!"

Authorities are expected to press charges against the driver once the investigation is complete.
