The broadcasters claimed that there was an informant close to the son of the US president.
State media in Tehran has aired a troubling video focused on Barron Trump, the youngest son of US President Donald Trump.
According to Euronews, broadcasters claimed agents monitored the president’s twenty-year-old son, displaying detailed images of his university campus and security detail.
The program carried a grim title. Named “Where and how should we kill Barron Trump?”, it alleged a $10 million reward was available. Producers boasted an informant sat near him.
The report claimed he uses Xbox voice chat to message contacts. None of these claims could be verified by independent monitors.
This is not an isolated event. Broadcasters previously released a July video titled “Where and how is Melania Trump accessible?”, which tracked the first lady across New York, according to Colorado Politics.
Rising geopolitical friction
Direct threats against American leaders have surged. Tehran recently displayed a massive public billboard showing the president in a coffin alongside the words “We will kill Trump”.
The anger stretches back to January 2020. That was when a US strike killed Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani. More recent strikes on February 28 that killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei escalated the rhetoric even further.
State commentators invoked Islamic legal principles to justify retaliation. As reported by Iran International, television analyst Mohammad-Javad Larijani called avenging their fallen leaders an “inalienable right”, adding, “We will do whatever is in our power, and there is no international legal barrier to stop us.”
Commentator Mohsen Ghanbarian voiced similar warnings on air. He warned that “the current leader and the leaders of the Islamic Republic will always have to live in hiding” unless retribution takes place.
High-stakes warnings
The White House delivered sharp warnings of its own. President Trump declared on January 20 that any attempt on his life would prompt immediate, massive military force.
He warned that “the whole country of Iran will blow up” if an attack occurs. Orders were already in place to “wipe the Islamic Republic off the face of the Earth” if threats turn into action.
