When bringing a valuable item into the EU, one must remember to pay taxes on it. Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't do so, and it cost him both time and money.

The original plan was for Arnold Schwarzenegger's watch to be sold at an auction in Austria, with the proceeds going directly to charity.

However, things didn't go as planned.

The "Terminator" star was caught by customs in Munich airport, and the watch never made it past the airport.

This incident has been reported by several international media outlets, including The Guardian.

In fact, Schwarzenegger has broken the law, whether knowingly or unknowingly, to such an extent that a criminal case has been initiated against him.

This action was taken because his watch maneuver is legally perceived as tax evasion, which is naturally prohibited.

The watch, which the former bodybuilder intended to sell, is a rare piece.

According to the media, it was made personally for Schwarzenegger and crafted by the luxurious Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet.

The 76-year-old actor is scheduled to host a charity dinner at the ski resort of Kitzbühel in Austria, where there will also be an auction with all proceeds going directly to charity.
