An arrest warrant has been issued for former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown on a charge of attempted murder, stemming from a violent altercation involving gunfire at an amateur boxing event in Miami-Dade County this past May.
According to the warrant, obtained by CNN, Brown is accused of firing a gun during a chaotic scene that unfolded outside the venue, leading authorities to seek his immediate arrest.
The incident reportedly occurred after Brown got into a physical fight with another man, during which witnesses told police that Brown was the shooter.
Surveillance footage and eyewitness statements cited in the warrant suggest Brown punched a man during a brawl involving multiple people.

As the altercation escalated, Brown allegedly took a firearm from a security officer and chased the man he had just assaulted. Cell phone video later shared on social media allegedly shows Brown holding a gun and pursuing the man, followed by the sound of two gunshots.
Officers later recovered two spent shell casings and an empty gun holster at the scene, though no weapon was found on Brown during a pat-down.
Brown, who has not yet been taken into custody, appeared to allude to his current location on X (formerly Twitter) Friday by posting a video of himself riding a bicycle with the hashtag #lovefromthemiddleeast.
