Simone Malik, a 42-year-old artist, has crafted new portraits depicting what she believes Madeleine McCann would look like today.

Malik, who describes herself as a 'super recogniser,' drew inspiration from Madeleine's younger sister, Amelie, who was recently photographed for the first time since her toddler years.

The portraits were created with the aim of aiding the search for Madeleine, who disappeared at the age of three from a Portuguese holiday resort in 2007.

Malik believes that Madeleine and her sister Amelie share similar facial features, such as their mouth, eyebrow, and eye area. She also noted that both siblings have a square chin.

According to Malik, Madeleine's jawline would be more angular and chiseled compared to Amelie's, and she might have dimples on the lower half of her cheeks.

Simone Malik has previously sketched a child murderer and rapist in Pakistan, which led to his capture.

She is confident that her new portraits could provide crucial clues in the ongoing search for Madeleine. Malik urges anyone who sees a face resembling the one in her portraits to come forward.

The release of these new portraits coincides with renewed interest in the Madeleine McCann case.

Malik strongly believes that her portraits could solve the mystery of what Madeleine would look like today, essentially looking for someone who resembles Amelie McCann.
