President Donald Trump recently shared a controversial image on Truth Social. The photo showed his predecessor, Joe Biden, bent over a pile of dirt on a golf course.
The accompanying text delivered a sharp insult aimed at his rival. “Biden isn’t even a 100 Handicap,” Trump wrote.
The Irish Star reported that many users suspected the image was digitally altered. Regardless, the timing of the joke struck a nerve online.
Painful family updates
The mockery arrived just as the Biden family shared grim medical news. In an interview with BBC News, Hunter Biden revealed his 83-year-old father is battling advanced prostate cancer.
The disease has now spread to his bones. This rapid progression is causing the former president severe physical distress.
“The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further,” Hunter explained. “It’s very painful, and it’s very debilitating in many respects.”
He noted that his father rarely voices his discomfort. “The only thing that I’d say about my dad, about his health right now, is I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good,” he added.

Still, Trump found vocal defenders. Supporters argued that a simple golf joke is harmless compared to their grievances over border policies and pandemic rules.
Some even openly celebrated the former president’s declining health. The bitter exchange highlighted the deep fractures in modern politics.
Looking to the future
Despite the physical pain, Biden continues to make regular public appearances. He even has a brand new memoir scheduled for release after the midterm elections.
In a video statement, Biden explained the book details his choices in office. “It’s about the decisions I made and why I made them,” he said.
The title mirrors his previous book, which focused on the tragic loss of his eldest son.
