In a recent turn of events, an old selfie of former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama has resurfaced and gone viral, coinciding with the release of court documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The documents, which have revealed connections between Epstein and various high-profile individuals, have not implicated Biden or Obama in any of Epstein's crimes.

Epstein, known for his connections with the elite, was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019 but died by suicide in prison weeks later.

The release of these documents has reignited discussions and accusations on social media, targeting figures across the political spectrum, including Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, both of whom appear in the released files. However, no evidence has linked Biden or Obama to Epstein's illicit activities.

The selfie, originally posted by Biden on Instagram in 2014, features the duo smiling in the presidential state vehicle. It was recently shared on X, previously known as Twitter, by Democratic strategist Keith Edwards with a caption hinting at their absence from the Epstein-related documents. The post quickly gained traction, amassing over 630,000 views.

Despite their non-involvement, some social media users have baselessly speculated that Biden and Obama were connected to Epstein, with assertions of more names yet to be released. As of now, only 40 of the 250 documents have been made public.

The situation highlights the delicate nature of public perception in the digital age, where viral content can sometimes lead to unfounded rumors and speculations, especially concerning figures in the public eye.
