Russian Lieutenant Colonel Accuses France of Being Behind the Shooting at Crocus City Hall.

Trending Now

It has not even been two hours since gunfire erupted at the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Moscow, and already, claims about who is behind the attack are flying around.

This evening, the Russian Lieutenant Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Oleg Ivannikov, has made the claim that France could very well be behind the violent attack, which has so far claimed the lives of at least 40 people.

The basis for the claim, however, is not due to military intelligence but the fact that French President Emmanuel Macron was recently photographed punching a boxing bag.

"The involvement of the French intelligence services in organizing this terrorist act raises great suspicion today. Just this morning, a photograph of French President Emmanuel Macron circulated around the world media, where he hits a punching bag with all his might. This can be regarded as a direct threat to Russia. I connect today’s terrorist attack with this photograph,” the accusations from Oleg Ivannikov were reported by the Russian media outlet Ura.

Furthermore, the Russian Lieutenant Colonel asserts that it is undoubtedly the West behind the attack, using it to further unite Russia in the effort to 'denazify' Ukraine.

"This is an indicator that we must finally unite and take on the fight against terrorism and the denazification of Ukraine together," he concluded.

For the sake of clarity, we must state that the above interview is real, but the Lieutenant Colonel's wild claims regarding France or the West's involvement are unconfirmed.
