German Chancellor Olaf Scholz assures his people that they will not let Putin get away with what he has done.

In a declaration to the Bundestag, Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany reaffirmed the nation's steadfast support for Ukraine amidst its ongoing conflict with Russia. Scholz unequivocally stated that Germany would not stand idly by as Russia, under President Vladimir Putin, sought to alter international borders by force.

"We will not accept a dictated peace at the expense of Ukraine," Scholz asserted according to DW, underscoring the importance of sovereignty and the rule of law over the use of violence. This strong stance highlights Germany's commitment to upholding international norms and resisting aggression.

Further emphasizing the resolve, Scholz made it clear that Putin's expectations for Germany's wavering support for Ukraine were misplaced.

"We will not let him get away with this,"

"If the Russian president believes that he just has to sit out this war and we will weaken in our support, then he has himself miscalculated," he declared, pointing to a misjudgment on the part of the Russian leader. This misinterpretation by Putin, according to Scholz, would not lead to any shift in Germany's position on the conflict.

Subsequently, Chancellor Olaf Scholz's rhetoric intensified, and he made no attempt to conceal his overall opinion of Putin. He indeed considers Putin a criminal and asserts that Germany, among other nations, will not let him escape the consequences of his actions.

"Law is stronger than violence,". Scholz articulated

"We will not let him get away with this," Olaf Scholz stated, signaling Germany's intention to hold Russia accountable for its actions in Ukraine, which have been widely condemned as violations of international law.
