In a remarkable display of enthusiasm for holiday merchandise, British shoppers have been queuing for hours at Aldi stores to get their hands on the new Kevin the Carrot Christmas toys.

These toys, which became available following the release of Aldi's Christmas advert, have sparked a frenzy among customers eager to own a piece of the festive campaign.

One shopper took to social media X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their experience of queuing from 4:30 AM, highlighting the lengths people are willing to go for these toys. The range includes various plush toys of Kevin, William Conker, and friends, with prices from £2.99 to £19.99.

A special highlight is the limited edition golden Kevin the Carrot soft toy, priced at just £3.99.

The popularity of these toys is not a new phenomenon. In previous years, the demand for Kevin the Carrot toys has led to queues, both online and outside stores, and even instances of fights breaking out among parents. To manage the demand this year, Aldi has limited the sale of the toys to two per customer.

The Aldi Christmas advert, featuring Kevin and a host of other characters in a Willy Wonka-inspired setting, has added to the excitement. The advert concludes with a heartwarming message about the joy of sharing during the festive season.

From November 23, Aldi UK will also offer a 3D Christmas mug inspired by Kevin the Carrot, adding to the range of themed products that include hollow chocolate characters, ice creams, and an advent calendar.
