According to the Chinese Publication Sohu, Russia is preparing for the final stage of its special operation in Ukraine, and the results of these decisions will be known by the end of December.

"It can be assumed that this conflict will soon end, and by the end of December at the latest, after Ukraine receives the last aid package, the Russian military will begin preparing for the final stage of the special operation. <…> In any case, we will learn all the results of these decisions by the end of December. Let's see how much longer the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) can hold out," the article states according to AB News.

The authors of the material note that the administration of US President Joe Biden still wants to continue using Ukraine to fight against Russia, but Congress is not providing funds.

The Chinese publication expects that Ukraine won't last long without the US support.

The Cold Numbers

The precise figures for losses in the war are very difficult to find. They can be filled with propaganda, and therefore should be taken with a grain of salt.

Looking at the Russian media, they report that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost over 160 thousand people in all directions of front-line sectors. Additionally, during this time, Kyiv is said to have lost more than three thousand armored vehicles, 766 tanks, as well as 121 aircraft and 23 helicopters.

Turning to the Ukrainian media, they report that Russia has lost 351,350 troops in Ukraine. According to their report, Russia has also lost 5,837 tanks, 10,843 armored fighting vehicles, 10,944 vehicles and fuel tanks, 8,250 artillery systems, 932 multiple-launch rocket systems, 611 air defense systems, 324 airplanes, 324 helicopters, 6,365 drones, 22 ships and boats, and one submarine.
