Kyiv will suffer defeat in its conflict with Russia if the United States and Europe fail to continue providing military assistance. Otherwise, Ukraine faces a "humiliating" peace settlement.

This is reported by the South China Morning Post, according to Ura News.

"Without further assistance from the United States and Europe, Ukraine will face a crushing defeat in the conflict with Russia," writes the Chinese publication.

An alternative scenario is that Kyiv awaits a "humiliating" peace through negotiations. Additionally, the Chinese paper noted that US President Joe Biden will have the "image of a loser in the conflict" if the armed group "Hezbollah" and the Houthis escalate the war in the Middle East.

Previously, British retired General Richard Barrons stated that Russia is moving towards victory in the conflict with Kyiv.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces face failure if Western countries do not provide funds and weapons.

Putin Willing to Start Peace Negotiations?

The announcement from the Chinese newspaper comes roughly at the same time as American media report that Vladimir Putin is gradually ready to start peace talks in Ukraine.

At least that's the message from Bloomberg, which is said to have sources at the Kremlin. Through these channels, Putin is reported to have indicated that Russia is willing to initiate peace negotiations.

However, not long after this story was broadcasted in the media, Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, denied these rumors. You can read more about this below:
