The Russian attack on Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region on April 9 has resulted in the loss of three lives.

Among the latest victims identified were a mother and her child, whose bodies were recovered from the rubble by emergency workers.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine provided an update through their Telegram channel, stating, "This morning, emergency workers removed the bodies of a woman born in 1981 and a boy born in 2011 from under the rubble. Emergency and rescue operations have been completed."

The Office of the Prosecutor General (OGP) detailed the extent of the tragedy, stating that "the bodies of a mother and her 12-year-old son were found under the rubble of a house in Kostyantynivka."

The attack occurred on April 9, targeting a two-story building and leaving it partially destroyed by an aerial bomb.

In the aftermath of the strike, a fire that broke out amidst the construction debris was addressed by rescuers who "extinguished the fire of construction debris and removed the body of one deceased man born in 1964," as reported by the State Emergency Service.
