Sometimes, unexpected physical traits turn ordinary farm animals into massive local celebrities.
The unpredictable power of internet fame frequently brings huge crowds to very quiet agricultural towns.
However, going viral online does not always guarantee a peaceful retirement.
A familiar hairstyle
In the bustling agricultural region of Narayanganj, a massive albino buffalo recently captured extraordinary public attention. The unique 1,500lb animal naturally sports a very specific blond comb over.
Owner Zia Uddin Mridha carefully explained the surprising origin of this sudden local fame. According to the 38 year old farmer, his own brother gave the large bull a highly recognizable political nickname.
They decided to officially name the pale livestock animal after the American president.
The Daily Express reports that the brother chose the moniker strictly due to the distinctive, eye catching hair on top of the animal.
Throughout the entire month of May, this strange physical feature turned the creature into a major social media sensation. Curious visitors consistently flooded the small farm located just outside Dhaka.
Traveling for a glimpse
People eagerly traveled from all across the surrounding region just to witness the bizarre resemblance in person. One dedicated fan arrived at the rural property alongside five different friends and relatives.
“Truly, the features are similar between the buffalo and President Donald Trump. My nephew took a one-hour boat journey to see Donald Trump,” the amazed supporter told reporters at the scene.
This constant stream of eager tourists brought highly unusual daily activity to the normally quiet livestock enclosure. The owners had to accommodate dozens of people hoping to snap quick pictures.
A final destination
Despite achieving such widespread digital celebrity status, the beloved animal still faces a very traditional agricultural fate. The viral sensation is officially scheduled to be slaughtered later this month.
This massive event directly coincides with the upcoming Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha. During this important religious observance, large numbers of animals are traditionally processed for widespread meat distribution.
According to the Daily Express, approximately 12 million livestock animals will meet the exact same fate across Bangladesh during the upcoming holiday period.
Internet fame and physical similarities to a major global leader will ultimately not spare this particular bull from the upcoming religious festival preparations.
