In a post on Truth Social, Trump revealed he would nominate Waltz to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
“Mike has worked hard to put our Nation’s Interests first,” Trump wrote.
In the meantime, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will step in as acting NSA, a dual role that places him at the center of both U.S. foreign policy and national security strategy.

The upgrade positions Selfridge as one of four U.S. bases equipped with the cutting-edge aircraft, boosting North American air power.

The F-15EX Eagle II is an advanced evolution of the Air Force’s F-15C model.
Introduced in 2024, it features upgraded radar, avionics, and extended range, designed to operate alongside stealth aircraft like the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II.

During the National Day of Prayer event at the White House, Trump signed an executive order creating a Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty. Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick will chair the panel.
“The last administration attacked people of faith,” Patrick claimed. “No one should get between God and those seeking Him.”
The commission will examine threats to religious freedom, advocate for school choice and parental rights, and advise on federal policy.

According to a White House fact sheet, the new commission will produce a report exploring attacks on religious institutions, free speech for religious groups, and broader societal challenges to faith-based communities.
