Family photos are a staple of social media. Sometimes a quick glance is enough to appreciate the memory.
Other times, looking a little closer reveals details that leave viewers scratching their heads.
A questionable post
Eric Trump recently shared fresh pictures on his social media accounts. The album documented a family trip to the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey.
Followers browsed through snaps of Eric enjoying a round of golf and taking selfies with his wife, Lara Trump, and their young children.
But one particular shot stopped people in their tracks. It showed Donald Trump seated in a navy suit alongside his grandchildren, according to Hello! Magazine.
While the former president offered a wide smile, the background of the image looked strange. Followers quickly flooded the comment section to point out bizarre visual glitches.
Spotting the glitches
Social media users focused on a mysterious extra shape near the bottom of the frame. Many accused the family of posting a fabricated picture.
“Nice try with the AI photo of your dad and the kids,” one person wrote on Instagram. They noted a bizarre foot behind the boy.
Another user agreed the picture was generated by artificial intelligence, pointing out a “fifth foot” behind the children.
Not everyone saw an artificial creation. One commenter suggested the odd shape was just a white shoe. Another guessed someone had poorly used an Apple editing tool.
Deep roots in golf
Regardless of the photo debate, the family has a long history on the green. Donald Trump learned to play from his father before competing in high school tournaments.
He eventually turned that hobby into a massive business venture. His first venue, the Trump International Golf Club, opened in Florida in 1999.
That passion has trickled down to the next generation. Kai Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., regularly plays alongside her grandfather.
The next generation
Kai is taking her skills to the collegiate level at the University of Miami this autumn.
The young athlete recently shared her excitement about playing professionally in a news release.
“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour, and I am thrilled to be able to compete at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in November,” Kai stated.
She added that the tournament would be an incredible experience. Kai noted she looked forward to competing against her mentors on the tour.
