Preston Harp recently sat down for an interview with CNN cited by Irish Star. He discussed his estranged sister, Natalie Harp, who works as a constant companion to President Donald Trump.
During the conversation, Preston revealed that his sibling has always fixated on national leaders. He pointed out that this intense interest started long before Trump entered politics.
“I’d say since she was, like, 16, she’s had an obsession with, um, gosh, how do I explain this?” he told the network. He explained that she previously wrote letters to George W. Bush.
Crossing the line
Host Erin Burnett brought up a bizarre report. She mentioned a story where the young aide allegedly rode in the trunk of an SUV just to accompany the president to court.
Preston laughed in surprise at the news. He admitted he had absolutely no idea about the strange stunt.
When pressed for his reaction, he offered a blunt assessment. “It’s actually kind of sad. That’s obsession, that’s like an unhealthy obsession with someone if you’re gonna jump into the trunk of their car,” he said.
He believes her devotion stems from their childhood. Preston claimed their mother raised them to strictly believe in American exceptionalism, a mold Trump perfectly fits.

The CNN broadcast follows explosive new claims from reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan. Their recent book outlines the deeply unusual connection between the 80-year-old president and his young staffer.
The authors claim the aide secretly left highly personal notes around the White House for Trump to find. In one message, she reportedly wrote, “You are all that matters to me.”
This intense behavior quickly caught the attention of security details. Speaking to CNN, Haberman noted that the private letters genuinely alarmed the Secret Service.
A constant shadow
Political opponents are weaponizing this unusual dynamic. Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff recently blasted the commander-in-chief for flying around with his favorite staffer instead of managing national crises.
Trump fired back. He dismissed the senator by calling him a “Pee-Wee Herman lookalike.”
Despite the growing public scrutiny, the controversial aide remains firmly by the president’s side. Reporters note she attends almost every Oval Office meeting and occasionally chases his golf cart on foot.
