Supermodel Heidi Klum and her musician husband Tom Kaulitz have recently expanded their family in a rather adorable way. The couple, who reside in Los Angeles, have welcomed two new puppy members into their household.
A surprise for Tom
Heidi Klum decided to make her husband's birthday extra special this year by gifting him two cute puppies. The 34-year-old musician was visibly thrilled, as evidenced by a photo shared on Instagram.
In the picture, Tom is seen holding the two brown and white spotted puppies, looking lovingly at them.
Heidi captioned the photo,
"When he tells you he's not ready for a new puppy, and you surprise him with two on his birthday."
A difficult year for the couple
Earlier this year, the couple faced a challenging period as they had to say goodbye to their three family dogs—Capper, Anton, and Stitch—within a short span of time.
Tom's twin brother Bill also lost his four-year-old dog, Stitch. The losses were emotionally draining for both, with Tom even mentioning in his podcast that he had "no more tears left."
A new chapter
Six months after their loss, Heidi felt it was time to bring joy back into their lives with the new puppies. The couple seems to be smitten with their new furry family members, and fans can likely expect more adorable pictures to be shared on social media soon.
