IKEA has issued an urgent recall for its Lettan mirrors with specific date stamps and supplier numbers, urging customers to cease using them immediately. The recall is all over the world.

The recall comes after reports of the mirrors falling due to breaking wall fittings, posing a risk of injury.

Details of the recall

Customers who have purchased a Lettan mirror with date stamps before and including 2105 (yyww), or with supplier number 21944 and date stamps before and including 2325 (yyww), are advised to stop using the mirror. IKEA is offering free wall fittings to affected customers to rectify the issue.

Proof of purchase is not required, and customers can contact IKEA directly to order the spare wall fittings.

How to check your mirror

Customers are encouraged to check the date stamps or supplier number on the back of their Lettan mirrors. Detailed instructions on how to do this are provided on IKEA's website.

If your mirror is affected, you can order free spare wall fittings by following the instructions provided.
