The fighting between Israel and Iran continues to escalate, and now Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, has issued a direct warning to the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.
“I warn the Iranian dictator”

According to his office, Katz warned Khamenei, that he risks suffering “a fate similar to Saddam Hussein”, according to The Times of Israel.
“I warn the Iranian dictator against continuing to commit war crimes and launching missiles at Israeli civilians,” Katz said.

Urging residents to evacuate

Katz also took the opportunity to send a message to the 10 million people living in the capital of Iran, Tehran.
“I urge the residents of Tehran to evacuate those areas in accordance with the IDF Spokesperson’s instructions in Persian, for their own protection,” Katz added.
American attack on the way?

Katz’ warning comes at the same time rumors are that the US is preparing to assist Israel in attacking Iran.
However, a spokesperson for The White House, Alex Pfeiffer, stated on X that the rumors are not true.
“American forces will stay in their defensive positions. We will defend American interests,” he said.
USS Nimitz changing course

Monday it was reported that the USS Nimitz, on of the largest warships in the world, is changing course.
From being in the South China Sea Monday morning, the aircraft carrier is now heading west towards the Middle East.
“We’re going to do something”

The White House announced late on Monday that Mr. Trump was leaving the G7 summit early because of the situation in the Middle East.
“As soon as I leave here, we’re going to be doing something,” Mr. Trump said. “But I have to leave here.”
What he intended to do remained unclear.
