In a recent incident that has raised concerns, Israel mistakenly fired at an Egyptian position on Sunday evening. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have acknowledged the error and are currently investigating the incident. This i reported by Sky News.

Amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, bodies are being discovered daily, and heavy fighting continues.

The incident has fueled concerns that other countries, including Lebanon, the United States, and Iran, may become involved in the conflict.

IDF's Statement

The IDF expressed regret over the incident, stating, "An IDF tank mistakenly fired at an Egyptian position near the Kerem Shalom border area. The incident is under investigation, and the details are being reviewed."

As of now, Egypt has not officially commented on the incident.

Heavy fighting continued on Sunday, with both Hamas and Israeli forces exchanging fire in Gaza. The IDF reported hitting a terrorist cell that had fired at its soldiers.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Lebanon about the devastating consequences if Hezbollah joins the war. Meanwhile, the United States has urged Israel to delay any ground invasion until more aid reaches Gaza and more hostages are released.

Thousands have died in the conflict, and the humanitarian situation is nearing catastrophic levels.
