The city of Kharkiv in Ukraine experienced a series of explosions on the morning of September 16, according to official reports.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, and Ihor Terekhov, the Mayor of Kharkiv, have both confirmed the incidents.

Syniehubov stated that "Occupiers are attacking Kharkiv," while Terekhov urged residents to be cautious and seek shelter.

After the explosions, emergency services were immediately dispatched to the affected areas. Syniehubov later added that Kharkiv had been hit at least four times by the Russians.

The authorities are urging everyone to be careful and stay in shelters.

Air-raid warnings across Ukraine

In addition to Kharkiv, air-raid warnings were issued in many other regions of Ukraine, including the capital city of Kyiv.

The Air Force has reported a threat of a ballistic missile attack, heightening tensions and concerns across the country.

The attacks on Kharkiv raise questions about the safety of civilian areas in Ukraine, especially given the air-raid warnings in other regions.

The situation underscores the volatile and dangerous conditions that Ukrainians are currently facing.
