Major setback for Russian forces: Over 1000 soldiers confirmed dead in 24 hours

In a remarkable demonstration of resilience and strength, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have reported substantial losses inflicted on Russian forces in their ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than a thousand Russian soldiers have been neutralized in just one day, a significant blow to the invading forces.

The detailed report released on Facebook by the General Staff enumerates the staggering losses suffered by Russia over the past day.

The casualties include approximately 1,130 personnel, a significant number that adds to the already high toll since the conflict began on February 24, 2022.

The total count of Russian personnel losses now stands at around 315,620.

In addition to the human cost, the Ukrainian forces have also succeeded in destroying a considerable amount of Russian military hardware.

The latest count includes the destruction of 11 tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, and 36 artillery systems. These figures add to the already substantial losses incurred by Russia, which now total 5,388 tanks, 10,121 armored combat vehicles, and 7,683 artillery systems.

Other notable losses for the Russian military include eight Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), three air defense systems, 14 operational and tactical UAVs, one cruise missile, and 40 motor vehicles and tank trucks.

The current count of total losses also includes 585 air defense systems, 323 aircraft, 324 helicopters, 22 ships/boats, one submarine, and 1,084 pieces of special equipment.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to clarify these data, emphasizing the ongoing efforts of the Ukrainian military to resist and push back against the Russian invasion.
