Some commenters insisted the change must be linked to the weight-loss drug Ozempic, while others argued it reflected long-standing discipline around diet and fitness.
The renewed scrutiny also revived claims that the Obamas are heading for a divorce, a rumour that has circulated repeatedly over the years.
Social media users described her latest appearance as everything from “Ozempic body” to “revenge body,” feeding speculation without evidence.
Old rumours resurface

US outlets reported that speculation intensified when Michelle Obama skipped several high-profile events, which some commentators used to push unfounded narratives.
Addressing the speculation
In July, the former president made an appearance on his wife’s YouTube and podcast project, IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson.
When asked jokingly whether they still liked each other, Barack Obama played along, responding, “She took me back!” and adding lightheartedly that “things were rocky for a while.”
Michelle Obama then rejected the divorce stories directly, saying: “There has never been a single moment in our marriage where I thought about leaving my husband.”
She added that their relationship had included difficult periods as well as “a lot of adventures,” and that she considered herself a better person because of her spouse.
