Kira Yarmysh, spokesperson for Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, has reported that they have not received any confirmation regarding Navalny's death.

This statement comes amidst circulating reports about Navalny's demise.

Yarmysh mentioned that Navalny's lawyer is currently en route to the penal colony in Kharp, where Navalny is detained, to verify these claims.

Contradicting the distressing reports, a video from the Russian SotaVision Telegram channel on February 15th depicted Navalny participating in a court session via video link.

In the video, Navalny appeared to be in good health, engaging with those present and even making jokes.

This footage casts doubt on the reports of his death and suggests he was alive and well very recently.

Ukrainian officials, including President Zelensky and Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, issued strong statements condemning Putin and calling for recognition of his authoritarian tactics.

Meanwhile, Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for Vladimir Putin, claimed ignorance about the details of Navalny's death but confirmed that Putin had been briefed.
