According to AFP, the airports affected include those in Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Toulouse, and Beauvais, located near the capital city of Paris.

Authorities are currently in the midst of determining the validity of these threats. The tension is palpable, as thousands of travelers have been impacted by these events, with many left stranded and searching for answers

The Lille Airport took to social media platform X to confirm their evacuation due to the threat. "For the safety of our travelers, we have decided to evacuate the premises following a bomb threat.

We request everyone to stay calm and follow the guidelines given by the airport staff," read their official statement.

Meanwhile, the prominent French media outlet, La Dépêche du Midi, has reported that Toulouse Airport has also been evacuated. The reason? A suspicious package that has since been discovered on-site.

This narrative was mirrored at Beauvais-Tillé Airport, adding more fuel to the fire of panic spreading throughout the country.
