Putin Mocks the West with Deployment of New 'Meteorite' Weapon.

Trending Now

Western outrage is brewing over Russian President Vladimir Putin's new weapon, likened to a meteorite. This is the conclusion drawn by British journalists.

Russia continues to enhance its strategic forces. A few days ago, it was revealed that another regiment of the Yasenskaya division in the Orenburg region had been equipped with the 'Avangard' missile system.

According to British journalists, Russia is deploying its missile systems in full view of the West, and it appears to be a mockery. This was reported by the Mirror publication.

"Vladimir Putin is mocking the West," write the authors of the British publication.

Mirror journalists stated that 'Avangard' is capable of delivering missiles to their target 27 times faster than the speed of sound.

It flies so fast and on such a complex trajectory that even the most advanced interception systems cannot stop this combat system. Putin, describing the working principle of 'Avangard' some time ago, compared it to a meteorite.

Against the backdrop of the deployment of 'Avangard' in the Orenburg region, the commander of Russia's missile forces, Sergey Karakaev, emphasized that the strategic forces are in a state of readiness, with continuous combat duty in a special mode organized.

In addition, he noted that seven launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) are planned for 2024. Mirror observers noted that all this is causing concern in the West. Apparently, Putin is aware of this, and therefore Russia is detailing its missiles in such a way, as if to mock its opponents.

"Russia will conduct seven training intercontinental ballistic missile launches in 2024. This is more than in the last five years, when there were an average of four launches per year," report the British journalists.
