Russia is surprised by Zelensky's reaction to yesterday's attack.

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement regarding the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, noting that among all world leaders, only Zelensky has accused Russia of involvement in the incident.

The comment was made on her Telegram channel.

According to Zakharova, Zelensky's statement has inadvertently 'exposed' him.

"The thief's hat is on fire," the diplomat remarked, suggesting that the Ukrainian leader's accusation has backfired significantly, in a manner more damning than any curse could have achieved.

Zakharova previously described Ukraine as a hub for the spread of terrorism, alleging that with the help of the West, the republic has been transformed into such over the past decade.

Putin Accuses Ukraine

In his address to the nation earlier today following the tragic attack, Putin did not mince words, pointing to Ukraine as the masterminds. According to him, they had intelligence indicating that the terrorists could receive a free pass at the border with Ukraine.

However, not many hours after Putin's speech, ISIS claimed responsibility through their media channels, stating they were behind it. As they made this announcement, they also shared a picture of the four individuals responsible for yesterday's shooting.

It has not been confirmed by other official sources that ISIS is behind this, nor has it been confirmed to be the work of Russia or Ukraine.
