The Russian military has intensified its offensive tactics in the operational zone of the Tavriya Operational-Strategic Group of Forces, with a significant rise in assaults and airstrikes.
This information was confirmed by Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the Tavria Joint Task Force, through a Telegram post.
In his update, Tarnavskyi detailed the escalation of Russian aggression, stating that KABs, a type of guided bomb, are being deployed from Su-35 aircraft.
The Russian forces have carried out one missile strike, 29 air strikes, engaged in 38 combat clashes, and executed 911 artillery attacks in the Tavriya direction alone.
Despite the increase in Russian military activities, the Ukrainian defenders have remained firm, particularly on the Avdiivka front.
Tarnavskyi reported substantial Russian losses over the past day, including 491 personnel, with seven occupiers surrendering. Additionally, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully destroyed 21 units of Russian military equipment, among them three tanks, three armored personnel carriers, and a variety of other vehicles and weaponry.
Three Russian ammunition depots were also demolished, and 11 units of equipment were damaged.
Furthermore, Tarnavskyi mentioned that an offensive operation continues in the Melitopol direction, indicating ongoing Ukrainian resistance against the heightened Russian military maneuvers.
