In the early hours of May 13, the city of Selydove in the Donetsk region came under missile attack from Russian forces, resulting in significant damage to residential and educational buildings.

The city military administration of Selydiv reported via Telegram that the attack involved S-300 missiles and occurred around 01:20.

The administration detailed that multiple multi-story residential buildings and an educational institution were damaged due to the shelling. Fortunately, there were no casualties or fatalities reported in this specific incident, according to city authorities.

This attack comes amidst ongoing intense military engagements in the region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that, on the previous day, 146 combat clashes occurred at the front.

Specifically, in the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 30 attacks. During these encounters, the enemy utilized aviation support in attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions.
