Russian troops shell Nikopol and Myrivsk, causing widespread damage.

On the morning of June 10, Russian forces shelled the Nikopol and Myrivsk communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing considerable damage to infrastructure.

Details of the Attack

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported the incident on Telegram.

He stated that the Russian army hit the Nikopol district twice on the evening of June 9: using artillery on the Marganets community and a kamikaze drone on the Pokrovsk community. The attacks damaged a greenhouse and a private fishing boat.

On the morning of June 10, Nikopol and the Myrivsk community came under attack again.

No injuries were reported from this latest shelling.

Damage Assessment

The shelling resulted in damage to four private houses, two outbuildings, a garage, gas furnaces, and a power line. Despite the extent of the damage, no injuries were reported in the morning assault.

However, a 44-year-old woman was injured in one of the previous day's attacks on the district center. She received medical assistance and will be treated as an outpatient. In addition, a rescuer was injured in the Pokrovsk community during the same period.

These attacks are part of ongoing hostilities in the region, causing destruction and endangering civilian lives.
