A message that has been particularly shared and highlighted by the media in Russia shows that an Islamic group, which has taken responsibility for the terrible killings in Moscow, is now also threatening Putin.

Yesterday, for the first time, Vladimir Putin commented on these circumstances after the Kremlin had previously remained silent.

"We know that the crime was committed by radical Islamists, whose ideology the Islamic world itself has been combating for centuries," he said in a television appearance.

The terror organization now reportedly sets its sights on new targets in Russia, including Vladimir Putin himself. This development emerges from a post believed to be from ISIS, circulating on social media just days after claiming responsibility for the concert hall attack in Moscow that resulted in approximately 140 deaths.

"You have been warned"

The post in question has been disseminated among Iranian media, referring to Al Azaim, a propaganda network established by Afghanistan-based ISIS Khorasan. Ukraine's former Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko also highlighted the threat on his channel on X.

"Threats against all evil Russians, including Putin," reads the caption of an image showing a masked man holding a knife.

"You are warned, do not think we do not have the capability to avenge our brothers held hostage. With Friday's attack, we showed you that, with Allah's permission, the Mujahideen of the Islamic State can punish you for your ruthlessness," the message states, according to a Russian translation.

Unconfirmed Reports

The authenticity of the threat and the post has not been confirmed.

However, it has been widely shared on Russian Telegram channels, creating significant concern in Russia.

The Kremlin has not commented on the alleged threat.
