Donald Trump has once again become the centre of an internet-fuelled conspiracy theory, this time with some wondering if the former President used a body double during a NATO summit in the Netherlands.

Body Double Rumours Return

The Trump family has long been the subject of doppelgänger speculation, with First Lady Melania frequently accused of using a stand-in.

Now, attention has turned to Trump himself, with whispers reigniting online after his latest public appearance.

The Photo That Got Everyone Talking

Trump was photographed in The Hague on June 24 during a group photo with other world leaders, including King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.

But eagle-eyed viewers noticed something odd: Trump appeared shorter than expected.

“That Is Not Trump”: Twitter Lights Up

Social media users wasted no time. “That… that is not Trump,” one person wrote. Another speculated, “Why is he so much shorter?”

A third commenter took it further: “Not tall enough. Loved the people noting he’s in multiple places at once.”

“Mini Trump” at The Hague?

One Twitter user dubbed the version of Trump in the photo “Mini Trump,” fuelling the idea that a stand-in might have attended the summit in his place.

Others simply found the image unsettling, with one user calling it “creepy.”

Height Discrepancies Raise Eyebrows

Trump is officially listed at 6’3″, making him taller than most.

Yet in the photo, he appeared shorter than King Willem-Alexander (reportedly 6’2″) and only marginally taller than President Erdogan of Turkey, who is just over 6’0″.

But Wait, There’s Probably a Logical Explanation

Skeptics of the theory were quick to offer alternatives. “Let’s not get carried away,” said one user, pointing out that Trump was surrounded by tall men.

Others noted the role footwear might play in perceived height differences.

Camera Angles, Shoes, and Conspiracy Fuel

Experts agree that height perceptions in photographs can easily be skewed by angles, posture, and footwear.

Still, for conspiracy theorists, these subtle differences were more than enough to reignite a long-running debate.
